We want to thank all of the 540 applicants for their proposals. There were so many wonderful applications that it was very difficult to make our final decision. It is inspiring to hear of the work and aspirations of gifted and enthusiastic educators.The winners of the Creativity Workshop 2007 Educator Fellowships in Italy: Creativity in the Classroom are:

1st PRIZE: Free tuition and 9 nights accommodations in Florence, Italy to attend a Creativity Workshop July 13 - 22, 2007. (Airfare is not included).
WINNER: Ms. Anita Benson, public school teacher from Tacoma, Washington
.

2nd PRIZE: Free tuition to attend a Creativity Workshop July 13 - 22, 2007 in Florence, Italy. (Airfare and accommodations are not included).
WINNER: Dr. Caroline Wellbery, Assistant Professor of Medicine, Georgetown University.

Requirements:
a) A 500 word proposal: "How to Inspire and Implement Creativity in the Classroom". The concept of creativity can be in any subject area from the hard science to the more traditional creative arts.
b) Bio
c) Applicants must be full time educators at an accredited educational institution.
d) Past participants of the Creativity Workshop are not eligible.
e) Email submissions only.

Guidelines:
To apply for the Creativity Workshop 2007 Educator Fellowships in Italy you must do so by email.
Read the guidelines carefully before starting to complete it.

By Participating in this contest, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these official Rules.

1) Complete all the details applicable to you on the email application at the bottom of this page.
2) Send a copy of your completed email application to yourself for your records.
3) All applications must be written in English. The fellowship is open only to Educators teaching in the US. Educators should be proficient in the English language.

The completed email application must be received by midnight, Friday, December 1, 2006.
