"I have to say the workshop was an absolutely wonderful experience! Kirpal is an excellent teacher, motivator and mentor. I have made some lifelong friends in the 4 days and channeled parts of myself that I didn't know existed. I found that those who were ready for the class could benefit the
most - and I tried to be as in the moment as I could in order to get there. I will definitely take another class and would be interested to do
so in a different location, to be able to explore the surroundings as my classmates did here. For me the class was a journey, a very personal one. As a person who does creativity day in and out, and has for years - the personal journey was quite important. On the first day - Kirpal spoke to the idea of judgement and taking it away. I realized that I have spent years critiquing my own and others' creative work - and that perhaps I don¹t ever reach my
creative potential because I create work for others, not myself. That was my journey from the first day forward - and I met people who I didn't know, and didn't start off with the usual elevator pitch I tend to give in my line of work (and neither did they), and instead we went on a hunt for our muse together. It took us to rocks on the beach, to spice markets and to street food vendors drawing and writing the night away. I developed a very personal relationship with these people and for that I thank you. I am continuing to do my breathing exercises and hope to visit the rocks on the beach tomorrow to do some sketching.
